Dr. Ijaz A. Qureshi

Dr. Ijaz A. Qureshi is an academic, currently based in Islamabad, Pakistan and holds a fulltime faculty position – Assistant Professor at the Shaheed Zulifqar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST), Islamabad. Ijaz completed his MS in Strategic Management from Richmond, American University London, UK; MBA – E Commerce from John F. Kennedy University, California, PhD in MIS from Argosy University / UC Berkeley, California.

Since 2003, Ijaz has been working in the fields of Information Technology Management with focus on Intellectual Property, Innovation and Organizations. During and after completion of his studies, Ijaz has the opportunity to work at San Francisco State University, Argosy University and University of San Francisco.

Since 2006, Ijaz and a team of six PhDs has also been providing consulting services to the small and medium size firms in the field of Intellectual Property, Innovation and Technology Management. As a consultant, Ijaz has worked with many organizations and helped them to look at the Intellectual Property and Innovation as a strategic tool for sustainability. Ijaz currently resides in Islamabad, and enjoys academic activities at SZABIST and affiliation with National University of Science and Technology (NUST), where he served as fulltime faculty from July 2007 to August 2008 and instructed 150 + graduate and undergraduate students in the fields of Intellectual Property Management. When not working, Ijaz loves to travel and do some gardening at his home.
